Support for new language versions

The ability to serve foreign language clients is especially important in the tourism industry. With Droplabs you can now create your offer in 6 languages. We do not stop at what has been achieved and more will be added in the coming weeks. Learn more about how to prepare tickets in foreign languages for your facilities.

When thinking about foreign language clients, it is worth remembering that these are not only tourists visiting our country, for example, as part of their vacation, as well as foreigners living in Poland and people from Ukraine whom we host. The choice of a particular language depends to a large extent on which countries your customers come from. At the beginning, it is definitely worth offering English, which is the language of international communication and a large part of those who decide to visit another country know it at even a basic level.

The Droplabs sales element currently supports as many as 6 languages: Polish, English, Slovak, Czech, German and Italian. However, this is not all — we are already working to add more in the near future, such as Ukrainian, Spanish and French. Some of our clients regularly receive guests from outside Poland. To date, most buyers have used the English version, but we want to allow our customers to serve guests who speak other languages.

“The choice of languages we introduce into our system is based on the demand and perception of visitors to our customers' attractions. When working on the Slovak version of the application, we worked closely with customers from Slovakia, as well as actively cooperated with cross-border customers who have many guests from the Czech Republic and Germany,” explains Rafał Ociepa, Head of Product Droplabs.

No less important aspect of the wide database of language versions is the convenience for the end user in the form of automatic matching of the language of the store to the language of the browser. In this way, the customer does not have to look for any switches and immediately receives an offer of the tourist attraction in his preferred language.

“It was an interesting challenge! The work on the language versions was quite complicated, because it touched almost every place in our system. To prepare for the support of different languages, first of all, changes in the mechanisms for downloading the corresponding version of the content were required. Some work is still ahead of us, because we still want to better prepare for the support of new languages for new functionalities” - say representatives of the Droplabs Product team.
