Restricting the purchase of the service
Automation of sales processes and extension of the way tickets are defined in the Droplabs system possible by limiting the purchase of the service. This functionality allows conditional dependence on the purchase of tickets and their variants. How? In the Panel, you can conveniently define tickets, the purchase of which is possible only if you add related services or variants to the cart.
What are the uses of the service purchase restriction?
Limiting the ability to purchase a service has many uses among our customers. However, we want to highlight two of the most popular:
- linking a child ticket to an adult ticket, so that in an attraction, such as an amusement park, the system will tell parents that the entrance of a small child is possible only with a guardian, for whom you also need to buy a ticket,
- linking the parking ticket with the entrance ticket to the attraction area allows you to limit the sale of additional services (parking) and sell them only in conjunction with the simultaneous purchase of basic services (admission ticket).

In the event that the user adds to the cart a service that cannot be purchased independently, a corresponding message will appear with information about what exactly is missing in the cart. We also encourage you to add information about the special conditions of purchase of a given ticket in the description of the service.
How do I set service purchase limits in the Droplabs Panel?
If you want to configure a service purchase restriction in your facility's Dashboard:
- Go to “Service Management” in the “On Sale” tab.
- Select for a specific service, click on the three dots and select “Go to service purchase restriction”.
- Choose which of the service variants can only be purchased with another service.
- Mark without which services it will not be possible to purchase the selected service.
It is also worth noting that the restriction on the purchase of the service is available only for the online channel, that is, the online store, where customers independently make a purchase.
